How to Use the Vapor Clean Fire Spray in 4 Steps

Here's how to put out small fires quickly using the Vapor Clean Fire Spray:

1. Pull off the safety tab.

First, pull off the safety tab. 

The Vapor Clean Fire Spray comes with a black safety tab that prevents it from accidentally going off. We don't want you to use it when not needed, so we added this feature.  

2. Point it at the base of the fire.

Next, point the nozzle at the base of the fire. Make sure the Vapor Clean Fire Spray is three to four feet away from the base. 

We recommend aiming it at the base of the fire because the fuel source is there. Cutting off the fuel and the oxygen lets you extinguish the fire quickly. Aiming the Vapor Clean Fire Spray at the flames might extinguish the fire slowly. 

3. Spray in a sweeping motion.

Press the red lever to release the contents of the Vapor Clean Fire Spray. Spray in a sweeping motion until the fire is extinguished. 

If you feel like you're spraying too much, don't worry. The Vapor Clean Fire Spray has a spot-shooting function that ensures controlled spray amounts and prevents stubborn fires from reigniting. It also provides up to three minutes of firefighting time. So, you'll have enough firefighting power to deal with small to medium fires. 

4. Discard after use.

We don't recommend reusing the Vapor Clean Fire Spray because there might not be enough left in the canister to put out another fire. This also gives you a false sense of security, which can put you in danger during fire emergencies. 

Plus, every fire is different. Depending on how big the fire is, you might need more than one can of the Vapor Clean Fire Spray.
