Got these emergency ponchos yesterday and they are great! I Took one out and tried it on and they are well made with thick material, unlike the other thin mylar blankets I have used in the past.   • What size is the Heat Poncho? Will I fit in it?

    The Emergency Survival Bag is 39.8 inches wide by 48.8 inches tall, allowing somebody as tall as 7 ft to comfortably wear it.

  • Is it easy to stuff it back into the case?

    Yes, you can easily fold up and insert the heat poncho back into the carrying case. Make sure there's no air trapped inside, dust off any dirt/debris, and fold it starting from the enclosed end.

  • How much warmth does it provide?

    It's hard to give a specific temperature that it can handle. This depends on many factors including the layers of clothing, wind chill, type of resting area.


    A better estimate is that it can add up to 5-10°F of heat in the bag. This is for a survival situation to keep warm in the event that you don't have any other access to warmth. In other scenarios such as camping, we recommend putting this around your normal sleeping bag to trap the heat in.

  • Can it be reused?

    Our Emergency Heat Poncho is reusable. To repackage, make sure there's no air trapped inside, dust off any dirt/debris, and fold it starting from the enclosed end.

  • Can this be used for the homeless?
